It seems that snow is all around me; here in Tokyo it’s been snowing (but not settling) all day, and I found these snowy posts on bloglovin’:

Tomorrow I’m going on a three day hiking trip in the Japanese Alps…

Despite having some half hearted thoughts about ‘accidentally’ spraining my ankle just before, I’m looking forward to it. Especially when we get to the peak and see the views! I promise to post some pictures when I get back. 

To combat any negative thoughts that may go through my mind as my legs slowly die, I had the idea of bringing a small notebook to make a little hiking journal. I can record little details such as the wildlife and turning leaves and SNOW (!!) et cetera. I’m not sticking in any squirrel shit though…

For some seasoned hikers out there, it might sound like I’m making a mountain out of a molehill (I’ll have you know that this mountain is 3000m high…) but you got to start out somewhere! 

Anyway, anything beats the science lesson I had today.
